Geetha Iyengar is an expert on communications, public speaking and writing. English is her language of choice for her profession and she has been a teacher since the past three decades.

Geetha graduated from Bangalore University in the late fifties and then did a program in Education from Mumbai University. She then spent the next two decades teaching, conducting programs and workshops and participating actively in the boards of educational institutions, all with the mission to spread the use and appreciation of good spoken and written English.

Geetha's programs on Public Speaking have been highly acclaimed and hundreds of young and old have benefited from them. Among the many outputs of good public speaking has been a marked improvement in the confidence of the participants once they have better command over the English language and their audiences.

Geetha has been active in social work too. Apart from helping out with a number of committed non-government organizations, Geetha has also been involved with the Rotary Club of Ambattur, Chennai and the International Women's Association, Chennai for many years.

Geetha Iyengar has been writing for leading dailies and magazines in the English language for many years. She likes to write on human interest and social issues, things that concern us in our daily lives. She firmly believes in the use of a good word to spread smiles and cheers to the lives and families of her readers.
